1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of industrial triethylamine. This document is applicable to industrial triethylamine produced by catalytic amination using ethanol as raw material in the presence of hydrogen. Note. The molecular formula of triethylamine is C6H15N, the structural formula is CH3-CH2-N-CH2-CH3, and the relative molecular mass is 101.19 (according to the 2022 International Standard to atomic mass). |CH2 CH3
