This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 23868-2009 "Classification of Sporting Goods", compared with GB/T 23868-2009, except for editorial changes.
The main technical changes are as follows.
--- Added terminology and definition chapters (see Chapter 2);
--- Added the terms "sports goods" and "rehabilitation equipment" (see 2.1 and 2.2);
---Modified the name of "training equipment" and changed its name to "fitness equipment" (see 3.3.2, 2.3.2 of.2009 edition);
--- Added "indoor fitness equipment" and "outdoor fitness equipment" (see 3.3.2.1 and 3.3.2.2);
--- Added "rehabilitation equipment" and "physical monitoring equipment" (see 3.3.3 and 3.3.4);
--- Added "sports protection products" (see 3.4);
--- Added "other" (see 3.4.2);
--- Added "Example of fitness equipment" (see Appendix B).
