4 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise specified, water GB/T 6682 provided a water, reagents were of analytical grade.
4.1 11-aminoundecanoic acid. greater than 99% purity, protected from light.
4.2 disodium tetraborate decahydrate, Na2B4O7 · 10H2O.
4.3 phosphoric acid.
4.4 boric acid.
4.5 fluorescamine (CAS Number. 38183-12-9).
4.6 sodium hydroxide.
4.7 sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate.
4.8 glacial acetic acid.
4.9 ethanol.
4.10 acetone.
4.11 iso-octane.
4.12 Methanol. chromatographically pure.
4.13 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution. Weigh 30g (accurate to 0.1g) in glacial acetic acid (4.8) in 1L flask, water volume.
4.14 to 96% (volume fraction) acetic acid solution. Measure 96mL glacial acetic acid (4.8) to 100mL volumetric flask, and water volume.
