Drafting is required.
This document replaces GB/T 22142-2008 "General requirements for organic acids in feed additives". Compared with GB/T 22142-2008,
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
Added a chapter on “Terms and Definitions” (see Chapter 3); a)
Changed “sensory indicators” to “appearance and properties” and modified the corresponding technical content (see 4.1,.2008 edition
3.1);
b)
Added "Identification" (see 4.2); c)
The quality indicators have been changed, and the "mixing uniformity" and "water content" of liquid organic acid products have been deleted (see 4.3,.2008 edition).
3.2);
d)
Changed "Indicators of toxic and hazardous substances and impurities" to "Impurity indicators" and "Sanitation indicators", and changed the corresponding technical
Content (see 4.4, 4.5, 3.3 of the.2008 edition);
e)
Added a chapter on “Sampling” (see Chapter 5); f)
The test method for "fineness" has been changed (see 6.3.2, 4.3 of the.2008 edition); g)
The test method for organic acid content has been changed (see 6.3.3, 4.4 of the.2008 edition); h)
The type inspection has been changed (see 7.3, 5.1 of the.2008 edition); i)
Added judgment rules (see 7.4); j)
Increased shelf life (see 8.5). k)

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
feed additive organic acid
Added to feed or animal drinking water, it has the function of anti-corrosion or anti-mildew or plays an acidifying role (lowering pH) in the animal digestive tract.
Machine acid.
Note. The organic acids allowed as feed additives are those specified in the "Feed Additives Catalogue" published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, as well as the supplementary varieties.
