3 Universal densitometer method for density determination
3.1 General
When using a specific density of time, in order to obtain the highest precision, should follow the following general procedure.
3.1.1 read density readings at a known temperature of the liquid.
3.1.2 the results of the readings were observed following amendments (obvious difference when).
a) the meniscus height (if the test solution is opaque when, see 3.6.1);
b) scale error observed readings (see 3.6.2);
c) the standard deviation of temperature of the liquid density meter used (see 3.6.3);
d) deviations and the surface tension of the liquid density meter nominal surface tension (see 3.6.4).
3.2 Instrument
3.2.1 densitometer
Select the surface tension of the liquid sample to adapt densitometer. ISO 649-1 Table 3 gives the applicable type of liquid density meter
Guidelines range. The surface tension of the liquid can be obtained from other special physical properties of materials form, such as "International Year of Physics, Chemistry, Technology often
Number Table "(" InternationalCriticalTables ").
3.2.2 density meter container
Select the density meter container Chapter 6.
