Introduction

Traction power is supplied from one or more contact lines through one or more pantographs mounted on the towing unit or on the subway and light rail vehicles Take the current to achieve. The pantograph slides slide along the contact line to transfer electrical energy. The pantograph and catenary systems form two relatively moving vibration subsystems. They are unidirectionally slid by the pantograph and ensure continuous connection touch. The pantograph and catenary are designed to minimize wear and tear in both subsystems during use. Characteristics and test of pantograph of rail transit rolling stock Part 2. Pantographs for metro and light rail vehicles

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 21561 specifies the general characteristics of the current drawn by the pantograph of metro and light rail vehicles from the catenary system. The test to be performed on the pantograph (except the insulator). This section applies to the pantograph of subway and light rail vehicles. This section does not apply to insulation fit tests performed on pantographs mounted on the roof. This section does not apply to pantographs for mainline locomotives. This section applies to flexible suspension catenary systems. Special considerations are required for users and suppliers for rigid suspension systems.
