Summary This standard specifies the basic requirements for the design, material selection, prototype testing, fabrication, handling, transportation, installation, recovery and reuse, and integrity management of flexible pipe systems in subsea production systems. This standard is applicable to the flexible pipe system and its accessories, including the flexible pipe body and the end fittings connected to both ends. It is suitable for static and dynamic bonded and non-bonded flexible pipes, such as oil outlet , risers, jumpers and other temporary applications for coiled pipes, and also for offshore offloading systems. This standard does not apply to choke pipes, kill pipes or umbilicals and coiled pipes for control pipes.
