For ease of use, compared with ISO 12194..1995, this standard made the following editorial changes.

Tobacco leaf smoke size determination
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method of measuring the size of piece of smoke.
This standard applies to mechanical leaves and hand-torn leaf tobacco, but also for any type of tobacco, including flue-cured tobacco, burley and cigars

3 Terms and definitions
