This revised standard adopts the International Wool Textile Organization (IWTO) standard IWTO-47-00 "optical fiber diameter analyzer (OFDA) Determination of sheep
The method of "Mao average fiber diameter and distribution.
The main changes compared with the standard IWTO-47-00 as follows.
a) the name of the standard was changed to "wool and other animal fibers with an average diameter of an optical fiber diameter distribution Test Method Analyzer Method."
b) the scope of this standard be extended to other animal fibers (except silk outside).
c) increases the preset humidity, the humidity and the standard atmospheric conditions.
Appendix A of this standard is an informative annex.
