Preface
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"
Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 20436-2006 "Dimethylsiloxane Mixed Rings". Compared with GB/T 20436-2006, except for the structural adjustment
In addition to the integration and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Added technical requirements for 1,5-dihydroxy-1,1,3,3,5,5-hexamethyltrisiloxane and silane (see Table 1, Appendix A and Appendix
B);
b) The test methods for total ring body and hexamethyldisiloxane were changed, and 1,5-dihydroxy-1,1,3,3,5,5-hexamethyltrisiloxane was added.
Test method for alkanes (see Appendix A, 4.5 of the.2006 edition);
c) The inspection rules have been changed (see 6.1, 5.1 of the.2006 edition).

1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation and
Storage.
This document is applicable to dimethylsiloxane mixed rings obtained by hydrolysis and cracking of dimethyldichlorosilane as raw material.
The siloxane mixed ring is mainly composed of hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane, octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, decamethylcyclopentasiloxane and dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane.
It is composed of an oxoalkane component (referred to as the total ring body).
Note. Molecular formula [(CH3)2SiO]nn=3~6.
