1 Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, quality requirements, sampling, inspection procedures, inspection methods, packaging, storage, transportation and
logo etc.
This document is applicable to the process of production, processing, trading, storage, etc., using indicators such as dry shell volume, fresh cocoon layer volume, fresh cocoon layer rate, and total cocoon volume.
The fresh cocoons of silkworms that have undergone quality inspection and graded evaluation. Silkworm natural colored cocoons are used for reference.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 9111, GB/T 9176 and GB/T 15268 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Fresh silkworm cocoon
Silkworm cocoons that have not been subjected to pupa-killing and drying treatment without heat treatment.
3.2
The cocoon layer of 50 g silkworm fresh cocoon-like cocoon (light cocoon) was dried to the mass after drying to anhydrous and constant weight.

The quality of the cocoon layer of 50g silkworm fresh cocoon-like cocoon (light cocoon).

The percentage of the cocoon layer mass of 50g silkworm fresh cocoon-like cocoon (light cocoon) to the sample mass.
