1 Scope
This standard presents the basic terms and definitions of quality engineering.
This standard applies to.
a) through the implementation of quality engineering excellence of the organization;

Note 1. There are four generic product categories.
--- Services (such as transport);
--- Software (eg computer program, dictionary);
--- Hardware (eg engine mechanical part);
--- Processed materials (eg lubricant).
