Introduction

Water use quota is a technical standard and important basis for measuring water conservation level. It is also an important basis for the implementation of water withdrawal permit system and planned water use management in China. The water quota standard is the basis for determining the permitted water volume, conducting water conservation evaluation, carrier construction and benchmarking management. It is one of the main indicators of water resources management and an important means to implement the strictest water resources management system. GB/T 18916 will clarify the water intake range, water supply range and water intake calculation according to the water use characteristics of different industrial sectors. It specifies the calculation method of water quota, divides quota index levels, and makes requirements for quota management. GB/T 18916 is proposed to consist of the following parts. Part 1.Thermal power generation; Part 2.Iron and Steel Integrated Enterprises;- Part 3.Petroleum Refining;- Part 4.Textile dyeing and finishing products; Part 5.Paper products;- Part 6.Beer;- Part 7.Alcohol;- Part 8.Synthetic Ammonia; - Part 9.Monosodium glutamate (MSG); - Part 10.Chemical pharmaceutical products; - Part 11.Coal preparation;- Part 12.Aluminium oxide; - Part 13.Ethylene and propylene; - Part 14.Wool textile products;- Part 15.Liquor;- Part 16.Electrolytic Aluminium; Part 17.Production of stockpiled bauxite; Part 18.Copper smelting production; Part 19.Lead smelting production; - Part 20.Woven products of man-made filaments; Part 21.Silk products;- Part 22.Starch sugar production; - Part 23.Manufacture of citric acid; - Part 24.Hemp textile products; Part 25.Viscose products; - Part 26.Soda ash; - Part 27.Urea; - Part 28.Industrial sulphuric acid; - Part 29.Caustic soda; - Part 30.Coking; - Part 31.Sintering/Pelletizing for the Iron and Steel Industry; - Part 32.Beneficiation of iron ore; Part 33.Indirect coal liquefaction; Part 34.Direct liquefaction of coal; - Part 35.Coal-to-Methanol; Part 36.Ethylene glycol from coal; - Part 37.Wet-process phosphoric acid; Part 38.Polyvinyl chloride; - Part 39.Synthetic Natural Gas from Coal; Part 40.Shipbuilding; Part 41.Yeast manufacturing; - Part 42.Rice wine manufacturing; Part 43.Smelting and separation of ionic rare earth ores; Part 44.Spandex products; - Part 45.Recycled polyester products; - Part 46.Nuclear power;- Part 47.Polysilicon production; Part 48.Vinylon products; - Part 49.Nylon products; - Part 50.Polyester products; - Part 51.Para-xylene; - Part 52.Purified terephthalic acid; - Part 53.Sugars;- Part 54.Canned foods;- Part 55.Leather;- Part 56.Fur;- Part 57.Dairy products;- Part 58.Titanium dioxide; - Part 59.Vinyl acetate; - Part 60.Silicones; - Part 61.Lysine salts; - Part 62.Cement; - Part 63.Flat glass; - Part 64.Building and sanitary ceramics; Part 65.Beverages;- Part 66.Stone. - Industrial Water Quota Part 15.Liquor
