Foreword
GB/T 18851 "NDT penetrant testing" is divided into the following six sections.
--- Part 1. General;
--- Part 2. Testing of penetrant materials;
--- Part 3. Reference test blocks;
--- Part 4. equipment;
--- Part 5. penetrant testing temperature is above 50 ℃ of;
--- Part 6. temperature below 10 ℃ of penetrant testing.
This section GB/T 18851 Part 6.
This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This section uses redrafted Law Amendment uses ISO 3452-6.2008 "Non-destructive testing - Penetrant testing - Part 6. temperature below 10 ℃
Penetration Detection "(in English).
This part of ISO 3452-6.2008 and the technical differences for the following reasons.
--- On normative references, this part has been adjusted technical differences, in order to adapt our technical conditions, the adjusted situation
Focus is reflected in the status of Chapter 2, "Normative references", the specific adjustments are as follows.
● equivalents adoption of international standards GB/T 5097 instead of ISO 3059 (see 4.1,4.2.5 and 5.4.3);
● equivalents adoption of international standards GB/T 18851.1 replaces ISO 3452-1 (see section 3.1);
● equivalents adoption of international standards GB/T 18851.2 replaces ISO 3452-2 (see Chapter 6);
● equivalents adoption of international standards GB/T 18851.3 replaces ISO 3452-3 (see 5.2).

Introduction
When the temperature is below 10 ℃, performance penetrant testing materials will be affected. GB/T 18851.1 and GB/T 18851.2 provides
10 ℃ ~ 50 ℃ osmotic material use and testing. This section GB/T 18851 is made less than 10 ℃ penetration and detection material
application.
This section describes the operating temperature associated with product penetration testing process, and how the user to confirm product specification Recommended
The process parameters (process method) is applicable.
Penetrant testing is to ensure that the product can detect low quality specially developed products, but penetration testing product that can be used at room temperature,
In some cases, for low temperature detection.
NDT penetrant testing
Part 6. temperature below 10 ℃ of penetrant testing
1 Scope
This section GB/T 18851 regulations dedicated to low temperatures (below 10 ℃) testing requirements and the appropriate product testing party identification
law. This section applies only to coincide with the product manual temperature range.
2 Normative references

3 low temperature penetrant testing
3.1 General
Unless otherwise provided in this section or product specification, otherwise GB/T 18851.1 of the General always applicable.
Manufacturer is responsible for the identification test, if the penetration of the product within the specified range is not necessary to use in the field again for examination.
3.2 Technical principles
You may encounter some special problems at low temperatures.
a) the presence of moisture or ice detection surface;
b) compared with the higher temperatures, the rate of non-volatile solvent and water-based developer of low wet;
c) When using spray cans, spray pressure and quality may be affected;
d) at operating temperature, some penetrant may precipitate, in this case, it should be within the range of standard temperature (10 ℃ ~ 50 ℃)
Tested.
3.3 Safety Warning
All about health and safety and environmental protection requirements shall comply with relevant international, national and local regulations.
Based on different temperature ranges, special provisions should be enforced.
a) When using a heating device (whether the subject is heating element, material or work environment), should be prohibited detecting sprays and volatile matter and fire
