This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GB/T 18820-2011 "General Rules for Preparing Water Intake Quotas for Products of Industrial Enterprises" and is consistent with GB/T 18820-2011.
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

1 Scope
This document stipulates the content, preparation basis and principles, preparation procedures and calculation formulas of industrial water quotas.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 21534 and the following apply to this document.

The standard water intake is calculated based on the unit output of industrial products.
Note 1.Also called industrial water intake quota.
Note 2.Industrial water quotas are set up with two levels of index values. advanced value and general value. The advanced value reflects the advanced water-saving level of the industry, and the general value reflects the reasonable water use of the industry.
