This revised standard adopts the International Standard ISO 9911.2006 "Agricultural irrigation equipment - Manually operated small plastics valves" (in English).
This standard is based on ISO 9911.2006 redrafted.
The international standard ISO 9911.2006 technical differences are.

For ease of use, this standard also ISO 9911.2006 made the following editorial changes.

This standard is GB/T 18689-2002 amendments, mainly technical changes as follows.

--- Information about the material requirements to strengthen the polyamide (NP) valve;
--- Refine the requirements and test methods for the valve seal.
Since the implementation of this standard replaces GB/T 18689-2002.
