Foreword
GB/T 18577 "moving machinery size and symbol definitions" is divided into two parts.
--- Part 1. Host;
--- Part 2. Equipment and fixtures.
This section GB/T 118 577 Part of this part identical with ISO 6746-1.2003 "moving machinery size and symbols
Definitions - Part 1. Host "(in English).
This section is equivalent translation ISO 6746-1.2003.
For ease of use, this section made the following editorial changes.
--- "This International Standard" be replaced by "this section";
--- Deleted international standards foreword;
--- To ISO 6746-1.2003 international standard referenced with the international standard has been adopted as the standard instead of the corresponding country.
This Part replaces GB/T 18577.1-2001 "moving machinery - Definitions of dimensions and symbols - Part 1. Host."
This section compared with the GB/T 18577.1-2001, the main changes are as follows.
--- Standard name from "earth-moving machinery - Definitions of dimensions and symbols - Part 1. Host" to "moving machinery size and symbols
Definitions - Part 1. Host ";
--- Standard English name was modified accordingly;
--- Original 3.1 "three-dimensional coordinate system" and the contents of Appendix A merger is 3.1 "three-dimensional coordinate system", and the content of the standard will be
Modified accordingly;
--- Adjust and modify the contents of the appendix.
This section of the Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix C, Appendix D and Appendix E are normative appendix.
This part is proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation.
This part of the National earthmoving machinery Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC334) centralized.
This section is drafted. Tianjin Construction Machinery Research Institute.
The main drafters of this section. Li Guangqing, Shanghai Bo.
This part of the standard replaces the previous editions are.

Define the size of earth-moving machinery and symbols
Part 1. Host
1 Scope
This section GB/T 18577 specifies the definition of earth-moving machinery host of dimensions and codes, and regulations for the sit-defined size
Marking system, coding system terminology standards and commercial specifications in the corresponding size.
This section applies to GB/T 8498 basic types of earth-moving machinery as defined by the host.
2 Normative references

3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 8498 and established the following terms and definitions apply GB/T 18577 in this section.
3.1
Moving machinery used to define the size of the three-dimensional coordinate system (Figure 1).
3.1.1
Vertical plane through the longitudinal center line of the machine.
3.1.2
Any of a vertical plane perpendicular to the Y plane.
3.1.3
Either the horizontal plane X and Y plane orthogonal to the plane.
3.1.4
Above the front plane of the zero X, Y plane to the right of zero and zero Z plane are positive directions.
Note 1. The intersection of the X, Y, Z axis (zero plane) should be located on a well-defined reference point (seat index point; the engine crankshaft centerline; bulldozer driver
Rear axle or wheel center line; the whole measure of the horizon).
Note 2. If only represents a member (the engine, the seat), from the X, Y, Z-axis (zero plane) from the intersection of the axis relative to the orientation of the machine components should be in
Normal position (first cylinder of the engine facing the front of the machine; the seat facing forward) is determined as the positive direction.
Note 3. If you represent a machine or a work unit, you should indicate the machine is traveling from right to left orientation.
