This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 18257-2000 "Hot Surface Marking of Refractory Bricks for Rotary Kiln". 1 Scope

This document specifies the marking method for the hot surface of refractory bricks for rotary kilns. This document is applicable to the design and selection of the hot surface marking of refractory bricks for rotary kilns.

4 Technical requirements

4.1 General The hot surface marking of refractory bricks for rotary kilns usually adopts the groove method. The color code method can be used as a supplementary mark as needed. Note. The need for color code is determined by the supplier and the buyer. 4.2 Groove method 4.2.1 Groove type In order to be easy to identify, the shape of each groove should be different and go deep into the brick body.
