1 Scope
This part of GB/T 17737 applies to coaxial communication cables. It specifies the determination of overhead cables for analog or digital communication systems
Test methods for dynamic stresses due to the flow of light wind in overhead lines.

The terms and definitions defined by IEC 61196-1 apply to this document.
4 test methods
4.1 Samples
Unless otherwise specified in the relevant specification, the length of the specimen shall be at least 50 m. Both ends of the specimen should be prepared so as to be within the specified frequency range
Attenuation tests can be performed continuously.
4.2 Device
The device should include.
--- Test device (typical test configuration shown in Figure 1);
--- Electronically controlled vibrators;
--- dynamometers, load cells, calibrated measuring rods or other devices for measuring cable tension;
--- Network analyzer covering the test frequency range;
--- Continuity measuring instruments.
4.3 Procedures
Both ends of the cable should be terminated. Apply a certain tension to the cable so that the cable is properly installed.
Use a dynamometer, load cell, calibrated load cell, or other device that measures cable pull to measure cable tension. Experimental procedure
It is advisable for China to take certain measures to keep the tension constant when the temperature fluctuates.
