Foreword

This standard reference ASTMC795-2003 "austenitic stainless steel covered with a heat insulating material norms" and ASTMC692-2006 "Test Method for Evaluation insulation cracking of austenitic stainless steel external stress corrosion." This standard replaces GB/T 17393-1998 "austenitic stainless steel covered with a heat insulating material specification." This standard compared with the original standard, the main technical changes as follows. --- Added "Standard Test Method for insulation material for stress corrosion cracking of austenitic stainless steel external impact assessment", as Appendix A; --- Increasing the "insulation flooding measurement of pH," as Appendix B. Please note that some of the content of this standard may involve patents, the issuing authority of this standard should not bear the responsibility to identify these patents. The Standard Appendix A and Appendix B are normative appendix. The standard proposed by China Building Materials Federation. This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee heat insulating material (SAC/TC191) centralized. This standard is drafted by. Nanjing Fiberglass Research and Design Institute. Participated in the drafting of this standard. Owens Corning (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Deqing County, Zhejiang Pu Sen Refractories Co., Ltd., West Newcastle (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. Austenitic stainless steel covered with a heat insulating material specification

1 Scope

This standard specifies the austenitic stainless steel covered with insulating material (hereinafter referred to as heat insulating material) terms and definitions, general requirements, requirements, Test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, labeling, transport and storage. This standard applies to fibrous insulation materials, including aluminum silicate wool, rock wool, slag wool, glass wool and its products, it must also apply to other Thermal materials, such as calcium silicate, complex silicates, asbestos foam, foam, foam rubber and plastics. This standard is not intended to make use of this standard with all the related security issues. Standard responsibility of the user prior to use to establish appropriate Safety and health practices and determine the possible use of the relevant Regulations.

3 Terms and Definitions

GB/T 4132 and established the following terms and definitions apply to this standard. Damage in the form of metal crack may occur in some combined effects of the corrosive environment and the stress or residual stress.

4 General requirements

Exterior insulation material, size, and physical and chemical properties shall comply with the relevant product standards.

5 Requirements

5.1 corrosive Insulation materials should by stress corrosion test. Products in the production and should be completed by stress corrosion test, after mass production Insulation materials and pre-production should have the same formulation, using the same species, the nature and quality of raw materials in the same production process. NOTE. stress corrosion test is a pre-production test. 5.2.1 insulation material can be dissolved chloride, fluoride, silicate and sodium content should be in accordance with Table 1, receive and reject range As shown in Figure 1. 5.2.2 pH of insulating material leaching solution should be at 25 ℃ as 7.0 to 11.7.

6 Test methods

6.1 corrosion test in accordance with Appendix A requirements.
