This standard replaces GB/T 13779-1992 "Test method for length of cotton fiber comb plate method."
This standard compared with GB/T 13779-1992, the main changes are as follows.
a) modify the upper quartile length, mass average length of terms and definitions (1992 Version 3.1; Excerpts from 3.1 to 3.4);
b) a clear original comb comb piece length meter spacing (1992 version 5.1; this version 5.2);
c) the original weighing scales are switching range ≥100mg, division value ≤0.2mg; division value ≤0.05mg balance (1992
Version 5.2; 5.1 edition);
d) Modify the record sheets (1992 edition Chapter 10; edition of Appendix A).

3 Terms and Definitions
