Foreword
GB/T 13772 "Determination of Yarn Slip Resistance at the Joints of Textile Woven Fabrics" is divided into the following four parts.
---Part 1. Fixed displacement method
---Part 2. Fixed Load Method
---Part 3. Needle Clamping
---Part 4. Rubbing
This part is part 2 of GB/T 13772.
This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Part replaces GB/T 13772.2-2008 "Testing of yarn slippage at the seams of textile woven fabrics. Part 2. Fixed load
law". This section compared with GB/T 13772.2-2008, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Adjusted the tension value of fabrics with lower quality per unit area (see Table 2, Table 2 of the.2008 edition);
--- Increased description of the failure of the test due to "tearing tear" or "slippage" (see 11.2);
--- Increased sampling regulations and results calculations for clothing joints (see Appendix C);
This section uses the redrafted method to modify the ISO 13936-2.2004 "Testing of yarn slippage at the seams of textile fabrics.
Part 2. The Constant Load Method.
The technical differences between this part and ISO 13936-2.2004 and its causes are as follows.

The focus is reflected in Chapter 2, “Normative References,” and the specific adjustments are as follows.
● Replaced ISO 139 with GB/T 6529 modified to adopt international standards;
● Replaced ISO 7500-1 with GB/T 16825.1 that is equivalent to the international standard;
● Move the reference ISO 3175-2 to a normative reference document and use the revised international standard GB/T 19981.2
instead;
● Move the reference ISO 6330 to a normative reference document and replace it with GB/T 8629 which adopts the international standard.
--- Added Note 2 in Table 1;
--- Adjust the tension value of fabrics with lower mass per unit area (see Table 2 in 10.4);
--- Increased description of failures caused by "fabric breakage", "seam breakage", "tear tearing" or "slippage", etc.
(see 11.2);
--- Added Appendix C “Sampling regulations and results calculations for garment joint specimens”.

Part 2. Fixed load method
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 13772 specifies the method of determining the slip resistance of yarns at the seams in woven fabrics by means of a constant load method.
This section applies to all woven and decorative woven fabrics and elastic woven fabrics (including fabrics containing elastic yarns).
This section does not apply to industrial fabrics, such as webbing.
