This standard replaces GB/T 12471-1990 "wooden pieces tolerance and cooperation", the main changes are as follows.
--- Standard name from "wooden pieces tolerance and cooperation" to "Geometrical product specifications (GPS) wooden pieces limits and fits";
--- 3.1 to Chapter 3, "Terms and Definitions";
--- "Basic size" to "nominal size";
--- "On the bias" and "under bias" were changed to "the extreme bias" and "lower limit deviations";
--- Chapter 3 of "Basic requirements" to Chapter 4;
--- Cancellation 3.4;
