1 Scope

This document describes the image quality evaluation method for xerographic copies. This document is suitable for the evaluation of the image quality of printed products of black and white xerographic copiers (including multifunction machines), as well as for consumable materials (Such as. photoconductor drum, toner, etc.) related to the evaluation of the image quality of printed products. Refer to the evaluation of printed image quality of other types of copying equipment implement.

4 Test environment and conditions

4.1 Test environment The test environment is as follows. a) Ambient temperature. 18℃~28℃, relative humidity. 40%~60%; b) Illumination of the test bench. 500lx~1500lx. 4.2 Test conditions 4.2.1 Before the test, the sample should be placed in the test environment specified in 4.1a) for more than 2h before the test can be carried out. 4.2.2 When measuring with a reflection densitometer, it should be set to an absolute density value, and 5 sheets of copy paper of the same batch as the sample should be laid under the sample.
