This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard replaces GB 4814-1984 "original timber volume table", compared with GB 4814-1984, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Standard mandatory nature of the modifications are recommended;
--- Increasing the normative references;
--- Short logs, small diameter logs, long logs volume included in the standard, the original "original timber volume table" unchanged;
--- Complement and complete the gauging length 0.5m ~ 20.0m, seized foot diameter 4cm ~ 120cm product value of the original timber;
--- Remove Appendix A.

3.1 feet long 0.5m ~ 1.9m seized log volume formula
Gauging diameter of 8cm ~ 120cm, gauging length 0.5m ~ 1.9m short original timber volume is determined by the formula (1).
V = 0.8L (D 0.5L) 2 ÷ 10000 (1)

L --- logs gauging length in meters (m);
D --- logs seized foot diameter in centimeters (cm).
3.2 Gauge length 2.0m ~ 10.0m original wood product formula
3.2.1 seized foot diameter 2.0m ~ 10.0m trail log volume (2) is determined by the formula 4cm ~ 13cm, gauging long.
V = 0.7854L (D 0.45L 0.2) 2 ÷ 10000 (2)

D --- logs seized foot diameter in centimeters (cm).
3.2.2 seized foot diameter 14cm ~ 120cm, gauging length 2.0m ~ 10.0m original timber volume (3) is determined by a formula.
