This document is for the implementation of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases, the Regulations on Funeral and Interment Management, and the Regulations on Public Places Hygiene Management. The document is formulated to create a hygienic, safe and civilized funeral environment. It plays a positive role in protecting the health of funeral workers and people attending funerals. 1 Scope

This document specifies the safety limits, hygiene requirements and monitoring and inspection methods for pathogens in various types of funeral venues. This document applies to funeral places such as funeral homes, funeral service stations, cemeteries and columbariums.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 23287 and the following apply to this document. 3.1 pathogenic bacteria Microorganisms that can cause disease to the host.
