In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Changed the definition of liquefied gas, changed the term "hazardous area" to "explosive hazardous area" and changed the definition (see 3.1 and 3.3,
3.1 and 3.4 of the.2010 edition);
b) Deleted cargo operations, insulating flanges, inter-barrier spaces, hot work, degassing, inerting, decontamination, transfer operations, transfer operations areas,
Terms and definitions of unloading ships, loading ships and loading and unloading mains (see 3.3, 3.5~3.15 of the.2010 edition);
c) The requirements for the use of hoses for cargo handling and unloading are added, and the requirements for the inspection of permanent signs before the operation of the hoses, the pressure before the hoses are used,
Confirmation of the validity period of test data such as conductivity and tightness, and requirements for preventing excessive bending or twisting of the hose (see 4.1);
d) Added requirements for anti-static, anti-stray current and lighting (see 4.3 and 4.6.1);
e) Four stages of loading and unloading operations on liquefied gas ships have been added, mainly including information exchange before operation, inspection before operation, loading and unloading
Definition of assignments and completion stages (see 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4);
f) Changed the information exchanged between the two parties before the ship berthed, the information exchanged between the two parties before each loading and unloading, and the information exchanged between the barge operation ship and the ship.
Information content (see 5.1, Chapter 4 of the.2010 edition);
g) Added the requirement to determine the loading and unloading plan during the pre-operation inspection stage (see 5.2.1);
h) Added requirements for ship mooring confirmation (see 5.2.2);
i) Added requirements for loading and unloading connections (see 5.2.4);
j) Changed the requirements for emergency shutdown system (ESD), monitoring alarm system and cargo handling control equipment testing (see 5.2.5,.2010
version 6.4);
k) Changed the requirements for the filling limit of the cargo tank (see 5.3.6, 6.8 of the.2010 edition);
l) Added inspection requirements after loading and unloading operations (see 5.4.3);
