This standard replaces GB/T 14561-2003 "Fire Hydrant Box". Compared with GB/T 14561-2003, the main technical features are in addition to editorial changes.
The technical changes are as follows.
--- Revised normative references (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the.2003 edition);
--- Modified the basic parameters of the fire hydrant box and the fire equipment in the box (see Table 1, Table 1 of the.2003 edition);
--- Modified the performance requirements of fire equipment in the box (see Chapter 5, Chapter 5 of the.2003 edition);
--- Modified the requirements for electrical equipment (see 5.9.6.1,.2003 version 5.7);
--- Added requirements for fire hydrant boxes with emergency lighting equipment (see 5.9.6.2);
--- Modified the test method of the fire equipment in the box (see Chapter 6, Chapter 6 of the.2003 edition);
--- Increased the requirements for luminous signs (see Chapter 8, Chapter 8 of the.2003 edition).
