This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard replaces GB/T 10104-1995 "marine magnetic compass class B General technical requirements."
This standard compared with GB/T 10104-1995, there are the following changes.
--- Modify the "Range" and applicable Not applicable contents (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1, 1995 edition);
--- Increasing the term "orientation reader" and "magnetic compass" (see Chapter 3);

1 Scope
This standard specifies the class B marine magnetic compass, binnacle and azimuth reading device (referred magnetic compass and accessories) requirements, test methods, test
Rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage and so on.
This standard applies to the gimbal with or without liquid magnetic compass.
This standard does not apply to.
a) dry dial magnetic compass;
b) according to the above principle is different from the design of compass or does not comply with the given instructions compass.
