This standard specifies the rules for infrared photography and video recording methods.
This standard applies to criminal cases in China's criminal, civil, public security and other incidents, such as traffic accidents, natural disasters and other incidents.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined by GA/T 120-1995 apply to this standard.
3.1
Specialized photography and video recording of the imaged state of the object being photographed in the infrared light band.
3.2
Special photographs and videos recording the image of the object being reflected in the infrared light band are recorded.
3.3
A special photograph and video recording of the transmitted image of the object in the infrared light band is recorded.
3.4
Photographic and video recording techniques for recording the brightness distribution of infrared light, green light, and red light reflected by the object being photographed using color infrared film.

4.1 Photographic equipment
4.1.1 Camera
Should use 135, 120 single-lens reflex camera and SLR digital camera that does not leak infrared light, or scientific type of 5 million pixels or more
Digital camera. The photosensitive element of a digital camera should be sensitive to infrared light from 700 nm to 1100 nm.
4.1.2 Camera lens
Ordinary photographic optical lens or dedicated infrared photographic lens.
4.1.3 Close-up equipment
Close-up ring, close-up skin cavity (no leakage of infrared light), close-up lens, macro lens.
4.1.4 Attached equipment
Tripod, reticle, shutter release, scale, camera-specific power supply or battery pack.
