1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, models, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, use and storage of fire rescue air cushions.
This standard is applicable to emergency rescue only for firefighting units and is used without any alternative method. The maximum rescue height is not exceeded.
After 16m of various fire rescue air cushions, this standard does not apply to air cushions for training or other purposes.

3 Terms and definitions
