1 Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, marking, requirements and grading rules of recycled polyester (cotton fiber) unbleached yarn for sewing. 3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 It is a natural color yarn for sewing thread spun from polyester staple fiber made of recycled polyester by melt spinning as raw material.

4 Product classification and marking

4.1 Recycled polyester unbleached yarn products for sewing are classified by linear density. 4.2 The code name of recycled polyester raw material is RP. 4.3 The raw material name (or code), single yarn density and number of strands should be marked separately when marking the recycled polyester unbleached yarn for sewing. Example. The thread density is 7.0tex for sewing with 2 strands of recycled polyester, which can be written as. RP7.0tex×2.
