This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces FZ/T .20021-1999 "Test method for dimensional change of fabric after steaming". This standard is in line with FZ/T .20021-1999
In addition to editorial changes, the main technical differences are as follows.

Test method for dimensional change of fabric after steaming
1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method for the dimensional change of wool fabric after steaming.
This standard applies to woven fabrics and knitted fabrics and steamed processed size of the fabric.

3 principle
Determination of fabric in the case of no pressure, by steam after the size of change. The dimensional change is associated with the wet expansion of the fabric during wet treatment
And has nothing to do with the change in felt.
4 equipment and tools
4.1 sleeve steamer or similar equipment.

5.1 Standard atmosphere for humidity control and testing

6 samples
6.1 4 samples are taken from the (straight) and zonal (lateral) directions.
6.2 The sample size is 300mm long and 50mm wide. There should be no obvious defects on the specimen.
