1 Scope

This document describes the test method and evaluation method for the determination of pinholes in the surface of coated nonwovens. This document is applicable to most film-coated nonwovens with a thickness of less than 2.00 mm, including "film-cloth" structures and "film-cloth-film" structures. Membrane nonwoven fabric and film-coated nonwoven fabric with at least one layer of non-hydrophilic nonwoven fabric in the "cloth-membrane-cloth" structure.

3 Terms and Definitions
