This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting. This document replaces FZ/T 12024-2011 "Indigo dyed cotton yarn", compared with FZ/T 12024-2011, the main technical changes as follows. ---Adjusted the classification and marking of indigo dyed cotton yarn (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the.2011 edition); ---Adjust the linear density deviation rate index, and evaluate the indicators of excellent, first-class, and second-class products (see Table 1~Table 4,.2011 edition Table 1~Table 4); ---Improve the linear density coefficient of variation index (see Table 1 to Table 4, and Table 1 to Table 4 in the.2011 edition); ---Adjust single yarn breaking strength, single yarn breaking strength variation coefficient index; ---Increase the evaluation index of twist variation coefficient; ---The sampling regulations have been deleted, and the number and frequency of samples shall be implemented in accordance with the requirements of each test method (see Table 5 in the.2011 edition); ---Deleted the provisions for revising the calculated value (see Table 6 in the.2011 edition). This document specifies the product classification, marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, and packaging of indigo dyed cotton yarn. This document is applicable to indigo dyed cotton yarn for denim, and black, black and gray dyed cotton yarn for denim can be implemented with reference to this document.

4 Product classification and marking

4.1 Indigo dyed cotton yarns are classified according to different production processes and linear densities. 4.2 The production process and raw material code of indigo dyed cotton yarn are expressed in English letters. carded cotton code is C, combed cotton code is JC. 4.3 When marking indigo-dyed cotton yarn, the color (or code) and raw material name (or code) of the yarn should be indicated before the line density.
