Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces FZ/T 12021-2009 "Modal Fiber Natural Yarn". Compared with FZ/T 12021-2009, the main technical changes
Change as follows.
--- Deleted modal fiber and cotton blended natural yarn products from the scope (see Chapter 1);
---Chapter 3 classification and marking were revised, and the linear density of modal fiber natural yarn was deleted;
---In the technical requirements, the breaking strength, the coefficient of variation of breaking strength, the coefficient of variation of evenness, kilometer neps, 100,000 meters of yarn defects, etc.
Made adjustments;
---Expanded the line density assessment range, and the evenness index of the evenness directly uses the coefficient of variation of the evenness for the assessment;
---The sampling regulations have been adjusted to take the cheese sampling as the standard;
---The informative appendix B of the original standard is deleted.

This standard specifies the product classification, identification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and standards of modal fiber (cotton staple fiber) natural yarn.

3 Product classification and identification
3.1 The natural color yarns of modal fiber are classified by different nominal linear densities, and the unit is tex.
3.2 Modal fiber raw material code is Mod.
3.3 When marking the modal fiber natural color yarn, the raw material code of the yarn should be indicated before the line density.
Example. The linear density of modal fiber natural yarn is 18.5tex, which should be written as. Mod18.5tex.

4.1 Project
