1 Scope

This part of DZ/T 0276 specifies the test method for determining the rock disintegration index. This part is applicable to the test of frost resistance coefficient of clay rock and weathered rock in rock physical and mechanical properties test.

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 2.1 Disintegration index salkedurabilityindex After the two samples of the rock sample have been dried and wetted, the ratio of the mass of the sample remaining to the original mass is expressed as a percentage.

3 Principle

After two standard cycles of drying and wetting, the rock sample changes due to its ability to resist softening and disintegration. The fracture resistance index of the rock was calculated by measuring the mass of the rock before and after the cycle.

4.1 Disintegration tester (shown in Figure 1). a) Transmission. It consists of a worm gear, a bearing, a turbine, a large shaft, and a motor. The device should rotate the cylinder at 20 r/min.
