This part is the second part of DZ/T 0276.
This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces DY-94 "Testing procedures for physical and mechanical properties of rock 2. Moisture test". This part is compared with DY-94, the main technology
The changes are as follows.
--- Added two chapters "terms and definitions" and "principles";
--- Modified the sample quantity requirements;
--- Modified the drying time of the sample at 105 ° C ~ 110 ° C temperature;
--- Modified the rock moisture test record table.
This part is proposed by the Ministry of Land and Resources of the People's Republic of China.
This part is under the jurisdiction of the National Land Resources Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC93).
This part was drafted by the Hubei Institute of Geological Experiments, and the Guangdong Geological Experimental Testing Center participated in the drafting.

Rock physics and mechanics properties test procedures
Part 2. Rock moisture test
1 Scope
This part of DZ/T 0276 specifies the gravimetric method for determining rock moisture content.
This section applies to rock moisture test in rock physical and mechanical properties test.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1
Water content watercontent
The ratio of the mass of moisture lost to the quality of the dried sample when the sample is dried under specified temperature conditions is expressed as a mass fraction.
3 Principle
The sample is dried to a constant weight at a predetermined temperature, and the mass of the sample before and after drying is weighed to calculate the water content.
4 instruments
4.1 Balance. The maximum weighing value is 1000g, and the reading accuracy is 0.01g.
4.2 Drying box.
4.3 Dryer.
5 sample
Each group of samples is not less than 5 pieces, the mass of the single piece of sample is greater than 150g, and the volume is greater than 60,000mm3.
6 test steps
6.1 Prepare the sample and weigh it. For loose rock that is not easy to form, it should be tested with a sample box with a sealed lid.
6.2 Place the sample in a dry box and bake for 12 hours.
a) For rocks without crystal water, the drying temperature ranges from 105 °C to 110 °C.
b) For rocks containing crystal water, such as gypsum, salt rock, montmorillonite, vermiculite, etc., the drying temperature ranges from 60 °C ± 5 °C.
6.3 Remove the sample from the drying oven, place it in a desiccator and cool to room temperature, and weigh the sample. The above steps are repeated every 2 hours, straight
Until the adjacent two weighing errors are less than 0.1%.
6.4 The contents and format of the test process are shown in Appendix A.
