3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Marine area geological survey conducted in accordance with international sizing.
Note. The survey includes topography, submarine sediments, geological structures, sedimentary basement and caprock properties of the Cenozoic, mineral types and their properties.
3.2
Mainly to find out the geological survey of the composition and nature of the seabed material.
Note. The survey includes. the type properties of surface sediments, rocks and minerals, their distribution characteristics and their chemical composition.
3.3
Applying physics methods and instruments to detect the distribution of various physical fields in the sea area, inverting their structural and physical characteristics, and explaining the geology of the seabed,
structure.
3.4
The surface of the seabed below 40cm is relatively soft and saturated with water.
