Foreword
CY/T 58 "MPR Publications" aims to define and standardize the symbol structure, coding rules, publication production, printing, quality of MPR codes.
Inspection and coding management, etc. This standard currently includes the following sections.

1 Scope

3 Terms and definitions

4 MPR book newspaper production specifications
4.1 Structure of the MPR code
The structure of the MPR code shall comply with the requirements of CY/T 58.1-2009.
4.2 MPR code encoding rules
The coding of the MPR code shall comply with the requirements of CY/T 58.2-2009.
4.3 MPR Publication Identification
MPR publications should use a uniform publication mark to distinguish between MPR publications and other publications. MPR publication graphics

The MPR publication logo is mainly based on the graphic identifier, and the character identifier is supplemented.
The MPR publication must be printed with a graphic logo on the cover, and other locations are determined by the publisher on a case-by-case basis.

4.4 MPR code printing method
4.4.1 Printing of MPR Codes
The MPR code must use 100% black primary color (K version) and be printed in the final color sequence.
4.4.2 MPR code layout
4.4.2.1 Bottom layout
For color printing (four or more colors) of MPR books and newspapers, the MPR code should be typeset in the original layout.
Black is synthesized by C-M-Y.
4.4.2.2 Embedding typesetting
For monochrome (black) printing and color printing of MPR books and newspapers with special requirements, black (original) color must be used.
For MPR books and periodicals that print graphics, MPR codes should be typeset in an embedded format.
In the same layout, two MPR code layout methods can be mixed.
4.4.3 Gray bottom
When the MPR code is laid out in the bottoming mode, if the paper with higher whiteness is used, in order to make the layout beautiful and coordinated, the MPR code is not used.
The layout area can be laid 3% to 8% of the gray bottom. The gray value of the gray bottom should be consistent with the gray value of the current page.
4.5 MPR code printing position
The total consular code should be printed on the cover, cover, and title page.
The unit leader code should be printed on the front page of the unit (chapter, section).
The auxiliary text code and text code should be printed in the position where the graphic is located.
Other codes should be printed in the appropriate location (such as a copyright page, etc.) that uses the code.
4.6 MPR code post-coded naming

5 MPR publication digital media file production specifications
5.1 Media File Format
MPR publications can use the common media file format and the dedicated media file format.
