Foreword

This standard is the national standard GB/T 778.1-1996 "cold water meter Part 1. Specification" (eqv ISO 4064-1..1993 "closed Measurement of water flow in pipes - Part 1. Specifications "), GB/T 778.3-1996" Cold water meters - Part 3. Test methods and tests Equipment "(idt ISO 4064-3. 1983" Measurement of water flow in closed conduits - Drinking cold water meters - Part 3. Test methods and test equipment Prepared ") the specific requirements of the safety requirements. Chapter 3 of this standard is mandatory. This standard and CJ 3064-1997 "drinking water drinking safety regulations" compared to the main changes are as follows. 1) meter diameter expanded to 800mm; 2) increase the material requirements of the water meter case; 3) The individual dimensions of the pipe joint and the wet water meter cover have been adjusted; 4) Increased water meter material strength, durability and all water access parts and protective materials requirements. Appendix A of this standard is normative appendix. This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Construction standard quota research institute.
