This standard replaces GB/T 8138-1987 "shellac." 1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements of shellac, sampling, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, storage and transportation. This standard applies to particles of collagen gel shellac and purple with hot filtration, solvent processing shellac.
