1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, sampling, inspection rules, grading, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of gum rosin. This document is applicable to the gum rosin product obtained from the turpentine collected from the living standing wood of the pine tree after the turpentine is distilled and processed.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Amorphous transparent glass-like solid resin obtained by distilling turpentine collected from the standing wood of pine trees to separate turpentine.
