1 Scope

This standard specifies the normative and informative AML description library for engineering information modeling. This standard applies to the input/output application of related tools when information is exchanged between engineering tools in the automation area by means of AML. 2 Terms, definitions and abbreviations 2.1 Terms and definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 2.1.1 Automation markuplanguage XML-based engineering data exchange format for intelligent factory industrial automation systems. 2.1.2 Object The data representation of an automation object with one or more CAEXRoleRequirements related to an AML role class.
