1 Scope
This standard specifies the wash oil phenol content measurement principle, equipment, sampling, analysis step, the results of the calculation precision.
This standard applies to the determination of oil fractionation phenolic content of the resulting high temperature coal tar wash.

4 Reagents
4.1 Sodium chloride (or anhydrous sodium sulfate). AR. Sodium chloride required at 400 ℃, burning 1h dehydration.
4.2 Sodium hydroxide. 10% solution, and saturated sodium chloride.
4.3 Toluene. AR.
5 Instruments
