It consists of shielded conductors, equipotential connectors, surge protective devices, etc. 2.0.4 Earth electrode A conductor, which is embedded in the soil or concrete foundation, for current dispersion. 2.0.7 Surge protective device (SPD) A device, which is used to limit transient overvoltage and leakage surge current. It contains at least one nonlinear element. 2.0.8 Back-up overcurrent protection An overcurrent protection device, that is located on the outside front end of the surge protection device AND is part of the electrical device. 2.0.9 Internal system Electrical and electronic systems within buildings. 2.0.10 Electrical system A system, which is composed of low voltage power supply components.3 Basic requirement3.1 Quality management of construction site 3.1.1 The quality management of lightning protection project construction sites shall have corresponding construction technical standards, a sound quality management system, a construction quality inspection system, a comprehensive construction quality level judgment and assessment system. The chief supervisory engineer or the project leader of the construction organization shall inspect and fill in Table A.0.1 of Appendix A of this Code item by item. 3.1.2 Construction personnel, qualifications, measuring instruments shall meet the following requirements. 3.2 Requirements of construction quality control 3.2.1 The mobilization inspection conclusions of the main equipment, materials, finished products, semi-finished products, which are used in lightning protection projects, shall be recorded. They shall be used in construction, after confirming that they comply with the provisions of this Code. 3.2.2 Each procedure shall be quality controlled, according to the procedures specified in this Code. After each procedure is completed, it shall be inspected. Handover inspections shall be conducted between relevant professional job types; records shall be formed, including records of concealed work.4 Subdivision work of earth-termination system4.1 Installation of earth-termination system 4.1.1 The dominant items shall comply with the following requirements. 4.1.2 General items shall comply with the following requirements. 4.2 Installation procedures of earth-termination system 4.2.1 After the laying of the steel bars on the bottom plate of the natural earth electrode is completed, the earthing construction shall be carried out according to the design requirements. The formwork or concrete pouring shall be carried out, after inspection and confirmation and taking the acceptance record of the concealed work. 4.2.3 The concealed earth-termination system shall be inspected and accepted, before being backfilled with soil.5 Subdivision work of down-conductor system5.1 Installation of down-conductor system 5.1.1 The dominant items shall comply with the following requirements. 5.1.2 General items shall comply with the following requirements. 5.2 Installation procedures of down-conductor system 5.2.1 Use the steel bars in the building columns as down-conductor system. After the main steel bars in the columns are tied or welded, they shall be marked and constructed in accordance with the design requirements. The formwork shall be installed after inspection, confirmation, recording.6 Subdivision work of air-termination system6.1 Installation of air-termination system 6.1.1 The dominant items shall comply with the following requirements. 6.1.2 General items shall comply with the following requirements. 6.2 Installation procedures of air-termination system 6.2.1 The air-termination conductors concealed in the concrete of the building shall be constructed, according to the design requirements, after the main bars are tied or identified as welded and marked.7 Subdivision work of equipotential bonding7.1 Installation of equipotential bonding 7.1.1 The dominant items shall comply with the following requirements. 7.1.2 General items shall comply with the following requirements. 7.2 Installation procedures of equipotential bonding 7.2.1 For the general equipotential bonding at the entrance of the building, it shall check and confirm the positions of the entrance metal pipelines and the general equipotential bonding plate, before setting up the general equipotential bonding plate as connected to the earth-termination system. It shall make equipotential bonding, according to the design requirements. 7.2.2 At the subsequent junction of the lightning protection zone, it shall check, confirm, record the positions of the equipotential bonding plates for connection purposes and the metal objects that need to be connected, before setting up the equipotential bonding plates, which are connected to the main reinforcement of the building. 7.2.3 After confirming the location of the connection points -- between the mesh structure equipotential bonding network and the steel bars or steel components in the building, as well as the location of the information technology equipment, it shall carry out construction according to the design requirements.8 Subdivision work of shielding8.1 Installation of shielding device 8.1.1 The dominant items shall comply with the following requirements. 8.1.2 General items shall comply with the following requirements. 8.2 Installation procedures of shielding device 8.2.1 The installation process of the building's grid-shaped large space shielding work shall comply with the following requirements.9 Subdivision work of generic cabling9.1 Installation of generic cabling 9.1.1 The dominant items shall comply with the following requirements. 9.2 Installation procedures of generic cabling 9.2.1 The installation location of information technology equipment shall be confirmed, according to the design requirements. The cabinets and racks shall be installed one by one, according to the priority of the equipment. 9.2.2 The rated voltage values and color codes of various types of cabling shall comply with the requirements of Article 9.1 of this Code and the design documents. They shall be inspected and confirmed before use. 9.2.4 The installed and fixed wire slots (boxes), bridges or metal tubes shall be electrically connected to the equipotential bonding straps in the building.
