3 Classification and code
3.1 The classification of steel sheet and strip based on application shall comply
with the provisions of Table 1.
7 Inspection and testing
7.1 The appearance of steel sheet and strip shall be checked with the naked
eyes.
7.2 The dimensions and shape of steel sheet and strip shall be measured by
suitable measuring tools.
7.3 Tensile test shall be in accordance with the method B in GB/T 228.1. In
order to improve the reproducibility of the measurement results, it is
recommended to use the beam displacement control method, the yield strength
measurement rate is 5%Lc/min, AND the tensile strength measurement rate is
40%Lc/min (Lc refers to the parallel length of the sample).
7.4 The r value is calculated at 15% strain. When the uniform elongation is less
than 15%, CONDUCT calculation based on the strain value at the end of
uniform elongation. The n value is calculated in the strain range of 10% ~ 20%.
When the uniform elongation is less than 20%, CONDUCT calculation based
on the strain range from 10% to the end of uniform elongation.
7.5 The steel sheet and steel strip shall be inspected and accepted in batches.
Each inspection lot shall consist of steel sheet and steel strip of the same
designation, same specification, and same processing status (not over 30 ton).
As for the steel strip over 30 ton in mass, each strip will from an inspection lot.
7.6 The test items, number of samples, sampling method and test method for
each batch of steel sheet and strip shall comply with the requirements in Table
12.
7.7 The supplier may use different inspection and test methods to conduct
acceptance test. In the event of a dispute, it shall use the inspection and test
methods as well as the relevant technical requirements specified in this
technical specification to conduct test.
Vickers hardness 1 / batch GB/T 4340.1
Bending test 1 / batch GB/T 232
Surface roughness - GB/T 2523
7.8 Re-inspection
As for the tensile test, strain hardening index (n value), plastic strain ratio (r
value), Rockwell hardness or Vickers hardness, and bending test, if the test
result of any item does not comply with the technical requirements of this
specification, then from the same batch, RE-TAKE the double number of
samples to conduct re-inspection of this failure item. If the re-inspection results
(including all the indicators required by this test item) are qualified, this batch is
qualified. Even though there is only one indicator of the re-inspection results
(including all the indicators required for this test item) unqualified, this batch is
deemed as unqualified. Under such conditions, the individual piece which had
been subjected to the test BUT failed to pass the test will be rejected; however,
the other individual piece from this batch of materials which had not been
subjected to the test can be submitted again one by one for the test and
acceptance.
8 Packaging, marking and inspection documents
The packaging, marking and inspection documents for steel sheet and strip
shall comply with the requirements of Q/BQB 400. If the buyer has special
requirements for the packaging mass, it shall be noted in the contact.
9 Rounding off rules
The numerical rounding off rules shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 8170.
10 Designation approximate comparison
The approximate comparison between the designations of this technical
specification and the designations of domestic and foreign technical
specifications is shown Appendix A.
APPENDIX A
Normative appendix
Hard materials
A.1 As for the steel sheet and stripe with the designation of SPCC, it is allowed
to, based on different tempering type requirements, supply the hard steel sheet
and strip materials (abbreviated as hard materials).
A.2 The tempering degree classification of the hard material shall comply with
the provisions of Table A.1;
A.3 The chemical composition of hard materials shall be determined by the
supplier.
A.4 Hardness of hard materials
A.4.1 As for the hard materials, if being ordered based on the tempering degree
of 1/8 hard, 1/4 hard, and hard, the Rockwell hardness (HRBS or HRBW) or
Vickers hardness (HV) shall comply with the provisions of Table A.2. Unless
otherwise specified, the supplier shall only report the Rockwell hardness test
values.
A.4.2 As for the thin hard materials, if the Rockwell hardness (HRB) cannot be
measured, it is allowed to measure the Rockwell hardness (HR30T or HR15T)
or Vickers hardness (HV) of the surface hardness of the hard materials, AND in
accordance with the provisions of the Table A.3, Table A.4 and Table A.5 of the
Appendix A, CONVERT the results to HRB.
A.4.3 As for the minimum measurement thickness example of hard materials
as corresponding to the Rockwell hardness (HRB), SEE Table A.6.
A.4.4 When HR30T or HR15T is to be measured, if using a diamond anvil, it is
allowed for the backside of the hard material sample to appear indentation mark.
