1 Scope

This Document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and code, dimensions, shape, weight, technical requirements, inspection and testing, packaging, marking and inspection documents of cold-rolled advanced high-strength steel sheet and strip. This Document is applicable to cold-rolled advanced high-strength steel sheet and strip (hereinafter referred to as steel sheet and strip) with a thickness of 0.50mm ~ 2.5mm produced by Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd.

3 Terms and Definitions

For the purposes of this Document, the following terms and definitions apply. 3.1 Dual phase steels (DP) The microstructure of the steel is ferrite and martensite; and the martensite structure is dispersed in the ferrite matrix in the form of islands. Dual-phase steel has a low yield strength ratio and high work hardening performance. At the same yield strength level, high-strength low-alloy steel has higher strength and is one of the preferred materials for structural parts. 3.4 Complex phase steels (CP) The microstructure of the steel is martensite, bainite, ferrite and a small amount of retained austenite. Its matrix structure is mainly hard phase martensite and bainite, with a relatively high yield strength ratio, and a slightly lower uniform elongation than dual-phase steel (DP) and transformation induced plasticity steel (TRIP) with the same tensile strength level. The tensile strength is usually above 600MPa, and the bending performance is excellent. 3.5 Quenching and partitioning steel (QP) QP steel is a type of high-formability ultra-high-strength steel produced by quenching- partitioning process. The microstructure of the steel is a multi-phase composite composition of martensite + ferrite + retained austenite.

4 Classification and Code

4.1 The classification of steel plate and strip according to the use shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. 4.2 The classification of steel sheet and strip according to surface quality shall comply with the provisions of Table 2.

5 Information Required for Ordering

5.1 When ordering, the user shall provide the following information. 5.2 If the size, roughness accuracy, surface quality level, edge state and packaging method are not specified in the ordering contract,

6 Dimension, Shape, Weight and Allowable Deviation

The dimension, shape, weight and allowable deviation of steel sheets and strips shall comply with the provisions of Q/BQB 401.

7 Technical Requirements

7.1 Chemical composition 7.1.1 The chemical composition (melting analysis) of steel shall comply with the provisions of Table 4. 7.2 Smelting method The steel used for steel sheets and strips is smelted in an oxygen converter. 7.3 Delivery status 7.3.1 Steel sheets and strips are delivered after annealing and leveling after cold rolling. 7.4 Mechanical properties 7.4.1 The supplier guarantees that within 6 months from the date of completion of manufacturing, the mechanical properties of steel sheets and strips shall comply with the provisions of Tables 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, respectively. 7.4.2 When steel sheets and strips are supplied as specified parts, the supplier and the purchaser may agree on a range of mechanical properties that meet the processing requirements of the parts as the acceptance basis. At this time, the mechanical properties specified in Tables 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 shall no longer be the basis for delivery. 7.5 Surface quality 7.5.1 The surface of steel sheets and strips shall not have holes, surface cracks, laminations and other defects that are harmful to use. 7.5.2 The characteristics of each surface quality level of steel sheets and strips shall comply with the provisions of Table 12. 7.6 Surface structure The average surface roughness of steel sheets and strips shall be controlled according to the requirements of Table 13.

8 Inspection and Testing

When the maximum force plastic elongation Ag is less than 20% but no less than 12%, the calculated strain range shall be 10% to Ag. When Ag is less than 12%, the strain hardening index shall be reported (nAgt=εp, Agt) as the true strain value (εp, Agt) calculated according to the maximum force total elongation (Agt). 8.6 The inspection items, number of specimens, sampling methods and test methods of each batch of steel sheets and strips shall comply with the provisions of Table 14. 8.7 The supplier may use different inspection and test methods for acceptance testing. In case of disputes, the inspection and test methods specified in this Document and related technical requirements shall be used for testing. 8.8 Reinspection For tensile test, bending test and Value-n test, if any test result does not meet the requirements of this Document, double the number of samples from the same batch shall be randomly selected for reinspection of the unqualified item. If the reinspection result (including all indicators required by the test item) is qualified, the whole batch is qualified.

9 Packaging, Marking and Inspection Documents

The packaging, marking and inspection documents of steel sheets and strips shall comply with the provisions of Q/BQB 400.If the purchaser has special requirements for packaging, it shall be indicated in the contract.
