1 Scope
This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection,
marking, packaging, storage, transport and operation instructions of the douche to wash anus
(hereinafter referred as the douche).
This Standard applies to douche to wash anus used in collocation with pedestal pan in toilet.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this Standard, the terms and definitions defined hereunder and in GB/T 4706.53
apply.
3.1
Douche to wash anus
The equipment which has the function of washing anus of lower body, is used as seat ring and the toilet
cover, and used in collocation with pedestal pan, hereinafter referred as the douche.
3.2
Equipment with douche
The equipment that sprays warm water (or normal temperature water) from the nozzle for washing anus
of lower body.
3.3
Toilet seat with electrical heating
The toilet seat with built-in electrical heating element.
4 Classification and type
4.1 Classification
Douches are divided into four types based on their main functions, as shown in Table 1.
4.2 Type
4.2.1 Mark
Types of douches are as follows.
5 Service conditions
Douches shall be used under the following conditions.
6 Requirements
6.1 Appearance quality
Appearance quality of douches shall comply with the requirements in JC/T764-2008.In addition, it shall
comply with the following requirements.
6.2 Waterproofing grade
Waterproofing grade of the douche shall not be less than IPX4.
6.3 Warm-air
Wind speed of outlet of the douche shall not be less than 4m/s.
6.4 Temperature
6.4.1 Temperature of wash water
Outlet water temperature of douche nozzle of the douche shall be in the range of 30ºC-45ºC, and the
change value shall not exceed 5ºC within 30s.
6.5 Washing performance
6.5.1 Wash water volume
Water out-flow of douche’s rinsing module shall not be less than 350mL/min.
6.6 Performance of water pressure resistance
After the test specified in 7.7, the douche shall have no leaking, deformation and other abnormal
phenomena.
6.7 Performance of water impact prevention
Under the test condition specified in 7.8, water impact value of the douche shall not be more than
1.5MPa.
6.8 Performance of backflow prevention
Under the test condition specified in 7.9, the douche shall have no backflow phenomenon.
6.9 Performance of negative pressure
When the douche is tested as 7.10, the water level shall not rise in transparent tube.
6.10 Toilet cover and seat ring
Performance of toilet cover and seat ring shall comply with JC/T 764-2008, in addition to mechanical
strength (including the opening/closing test, slow-fall life-span test, static load, etc.).
6.11 Safety performance
6.11.3 Reliability
After the test specified in 7.12.2, all parts of the douche shall run normally.
6.11.4 Structure
7 Test method
7.1 Test conditions
Test conditions of douche shall comply with the following provisions.
7.2 Appearance quality test
Test shall be conducted by the method specified in Article 6.2 of JC/T 764-2008.
7.3 Waterproofing grade test
It shall be conducted according to test method specified in GB/T 4208-2008.
7.4 Warm-air performance test
Air speed of the highest air speed point is measured at a distance 50mm from warm-air outlet.
7.5 Temperature performance test
7.6 Washing performance test
7.6.1 Wash water volume test
Position the temperature control device at the highest grade, start up the washing procedures of douche,
spray for 30s time, and then determine the water volume for anus washing and the female local washing.
7.6.2 Anal washing performance test
Position the temperature control device at the highest grade, apply alternative dirt (e.g. 5g fresh mashed
potatoes) evenly on waterproof abrasive paper on the test board, and place the test board flat on the
seat, then activate wash button to wash the dirt for 30s with wash water targeted on it.
7.7 Test of water pressure resistance performance
Water pressure resistance performance test is conducted according to the following steps.
7.8 Test of water impact prevention performance
Under normal service condition of the douche, fill the device with water, as shown in Figure 2, with water
at hydrodynamic pressure of 0.15MPa (as indicated on pressure machine 1) for 30s, then quickly turn off
water-valve mechanism of the douche, and measure pressure at this point (as indicated on pressure
machine 2). Range of pressure gauge. 0 - 2MPa, 0 - 2.5MPa or 0 - 3.5MPa.
7.9 Performance of backflow prevention
Mount backflow prevention device of douche at the position as shown in Figure 3, apply 2 × 104Pa
pressure at outlet of backflow prevention device, and then observe the backflow of backflow prevention
device after 1min.
7.11 Performance test of seat ring and toilet cover
It shall be conducted according to the method specified in JC/T 764-2008.
7.12 Safety performance device
7.12.1 Tests are conducted according to the methods specified in GB 4706.53, the mechanical strength
test, reliability test and structural test shall be conducted according to the methods specified in 7.12.2,
7.12.3 and 7.12.4.
7.12.2 Mechanical strength test
8 Inspection
8.1 Inspection classification
The inspection is classified into exit-factory inspection and type inspection.
8.2 Exit-factory inspection
Exit-factory inspection items are shown in Table 2.
8.3 Type inspection
8.3.1 Type inspection item
Type test items are shown in Table 2.
8.3.2 Type inspection shall be conducted in case of one of the following conditions.
8.4 Sampling
8.4.1 Exit-factory inspection sampling
All the products shall be inspected.
8.5 Determination
Disqualification shall be divided into two classes. Disqualification Class A and Disqualification Class B,
see Table 2.For one sample unit, if there is one disqualified item in Disqualification Class A, the sample
shall be judged as disqualified; if there are two or more than two disqualified items in Disqualification
Class B, the sample shall also be judged as disqualified.
9 Marking, packaging, storage, transport and operation instructions
9.1 Marking
Product markings shall include at least the following contents.
9.2 Packaging
Upon inspection, the qualified product packaging shall meet relevant provisions of GB/T 1019;
exit-factory inspection certificate, operation instructions, attachments, warranty card, maintenance
record card and contact information of manufacturer shall be accompanied in the packing container.
9.3 Storage and transport
9.3.1 Storage
The storage warehouse for products shall have flat ground, good ventilation and have no corrosive
gases. Products of different specifications and types shall be stacked up separately and orderly.
9.4 Operation instructions
The operation instructions of the douche shall include the following contents.
