This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 5015-2003 “Gear coupling with pin elastomer”.
Compared with GB/T 5015-2003, except for editorial revision, the main technical
changes are as follows.
-- Modified type expression;
-- Canceled the J1 shaft hole type;
-- Deleted the LCJ type of structure;
-- Modified the marking position and value of dimension B1 in Figure 3 and Table 3;
-- Added the marking method. This Standard was proposed by and shall be under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Machine shafts and Accessories (SAC/TC 109).

Gear coupling with pin elastomer
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the types, basic parameters, main dimensions, marking methods, technical requirements and inspection rules of LZ type, LZD type and LZZ type gear couplings with elastic pin (hereinafter referred to as coupling).
This Standard is applicable to the driving shaft system connecting the two coaxial lines with transmission nominal torque of 112 N·m~ 2 800 000 N·m at working temperature of -20°C~ +70°C, and has the function of compensating the relative displacement of the two axes and buffering the axes.

3 Type, basic parameters and main dimensions
3.1 The basic parameters and main dimensions of the LZ type coupling (basic type) shall conform to the requirements of Figure 1 and Table 1.

Brinell hardness HBW 14~21
Embrittlement temperature °C ≤ -30
Thermal deformation temperature °C ≥150
5.3 The pins shall not have defects such as shrinkage cavity, bubble, inclusion or other defects that may affect performance.
5.4 The outer surface of the brake wheel shall be quenched. Its hardness shall be 40HRC ~ 45HRC with the depth of 2mm ~ 3mm.
5.5 Short-time overload shall not exceed 2 times the allowable torque.
6 Inspection rules
6.1 Exit-factory inspection
6.1.1 Each set of couplings shall be inspected in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 3 and the drawings before exiting the factory.
6.1.2 Each set of couplings shall be inspected and qualified by the manufacturer's product quality inspection department. The product quality certificate shall be attached before exiting the factory.
6.2 Type inspection
6.2.1 Inspection requirements
Type inspection shall be carried out when it is the first time of production, there is a major change in the product structure, material and process, or so required by the contract.
6.2.2 Inspection items
The inspection items shall be in accordance with 6.1.1.
6.2.3 Sampling and batch rules
When the first output of the coupling is less than 10 sets, pick 1 set for spot check; when 10~ 50 sets, spot check 2 sets; when more than 50 sets, check 3 sets. If it is not qualified for the first inspection, double the number of sampling for a second spot check; if it fails again, check the whole batch.
